Antiques, economics & genealogy
Being new to the antique business in these economic times can be a little disheartening. I've opened my shop with stars in my eyes and have been a little jaded by how slow of a start I'm off to. People are budgeting their money for life's necessities and spending less on things they don't absolutely need. I am still searching for my niche, so, by all means, let me know what it is that you want but can't find locally. I plan to stock the shop with genealogy supplies in the not so distant future because I am passionate about the need to preserve our past. I hope by making these items available that more people will take on the role of family genealogist. I'd love to hear feedback from the community on this. I am open to suggestions as well as constructive criticism.

Quote of the Day
Invention, it must be humbly admitted, does not consist in creating out of the void, but out of chaos; the materials must, in the first place, be afforded: it can give form to dark, shapeless substances, but cannot bring into being the substance itself.
Mary Shelley (1797-1851) |
